Sometimes, things just don't work out, and you will want to return an item to KathyQuilts.com. Any consumable products, cannot be returned for a cash refund. If you have a product that is defective, we can ship you a replacement. Quilting frames, hoops, and sewing machines, can be returned with prior authorization. You need to ship any returned products or items to be serviced in their original boxes. We want to make sure that your items come back to us in at least as good of shape as we shipped them.
Your refund will be your purchase price less what it cost us to ship and process your order. If you received free shipping, we deduct what it cost us to ship and process your order, (credit card or PayPal fees if they apply)
After your initial 30 days, we will still help you out if you need it, but can't accept a return. Please get back with us if you have any questions at all. We're happy to answer them for you, as I'm sure you'd rather know the answers BEFORE you make a decision.
Please remember that you have a 30-day unconditional money back guarantee, so make sure you put the frame together and try it out in that time frame, so that you'll know if you enjoy using it or not. We are HERE FOR YOU, and especially want you to call us during that time so that we can help you get the frame set up properly to have the best quilting experience possible. If you should decide to return the quilting frame, we're happy to refund your money if we can resell the quilting frame, and if the frame has NOT been stained or finished yet. You'll need to call us to get a Return Merchandise Authorization, and then we can give you a different returns shipping address. (The address for frame returns is NOT the same as the shipping company that the frame shipped from.)
Return Procedure
- You must first obtain a RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization number) before returning any items. Any returns that do not have a RMA number will not receive credit for the returned product.
- Call (888) 826-0222 to receive your RMA number. Leave a message if we are unable to answer your call.
- Ship your merchandise return via UPS, so you can get a tracking number and insure your shipment. Anything that is damaged in transit will not receive credit if it is not in salable condition. Email tracking number to returns@kathyquilts.com
- Shipping & Handling charges that we incurred when shipping your order will be deducted from the credit that you receive. We don't make money on our shipping, so we will only deduct the amount it cost us to process your order.

ShippingShipping charges for frames, hoops, and some accessories, will be a flat rate for UPS ground service. If there is a item that weighs less than 2 pounds, we might ship it by US Postal Service Priority Mail. If you need to have it shipped by a specific service please call and let us know. (888) 826-0222. This applies only to the lower 48 United States. Notions, and Fabric will have free shipping on orders over $100. There are a few larger items that we do have to charge shipping on.
