Grace Gooseneck Lamp and Brite White Bulb for Grace Machine Quilting Frames and Crafting

The Gooseneck lamp by the Grace Company is the number one tool that will help you quilt the way you want. If you can't see what you are quilting you cannot expect to have your quilts magically turn out. There are many times when your thread will match the quilt so well or you will use clear thread and you can't see where you have quilted. You might say that you have very good light in your quilting or crafting room but over head light usually isn't enough.

With the 14 inch neck Kathy can bend the light right down by the needle so it will cast a shadow making it easier to see where she needs to quilt. When freehand quilting Kathy will sometimes turn off the lights in her quilting room and only have her Gooseneck lamp on so she can see where she needs to quilt.

The Gooseneck lamp is only half the story of this great tool from the Grace Company. The Brite-Lite Bulb is a special 15 watt bulb that shines like a regular 90 watt bulb so not only do you save energy and money on electricity but you get full spectrum light so you can see the true colors of your quilt. When you are choosing thread you can use your light to help you see what your thread will look like on your quilt. Lay all the colors of thread that you think might work on your quilt with your Gooseneck Lamp & Brite-White Bulb on and it will be easier to see what that color will look like when you quilt your quilt. You don't want to pick one color only to find out that under a different light it looks horrible.

Included with your Grace Gooseneck Lamp and Brite White bulb are the Gooseneck Lamp, Brite White bulb and a special clamp that you can use if you are using your lamp for other crafting projects. This lamp was developed to attach to Grace machine quilting frames but they added this extra clamp to make it even more versatile. Kathy and I just love this lamp and bulb. Earlier version of the bulb were difficult to get in and out of the lamp, the latest version of this bulb is much easier to install and remove.
